I've been a personal trainer for 15 years, and have seen the guidelines for nutrition change and evolve throughout my career.  We started with a food pyramid based on grains and breads, moved to a philosophy of thermodynamics and low-calorie diets, and have now begun to transition to a more scientific approach of insulin management(a hormone that regulates the metabolism and storage of carbohydrates and fat.)  This documentary, "Fed Up," looks at the food industry and how sugar has become increasingly prevalent in everything we eat.
